Post Foot Surgery Hello!

Hello,
Those of you who follow me over on instagram will know that I am currently recovering from double foot surgery:
Foot surgery was something I had been putting off for many years and when I saw a very small gap in my diary (in between finishing a BIG deadline – more on that very soon – and food show appearances) I decided to do it. Thankfully all went really well and I am now just over half way through recovery! I have been REALLY bored though. It has been strange going through the crazy busy baking time that I have just had, to filling my days with customising my surgical sandals and colouring!!
Whilst being more than a little bit bored with all of this sitting around on my bum lark, I have been playing around on Snapchat! I love this filter (although I probably should have moved my crutches!!):
And it seems so does Nigella! I am in good company š I have no idea what to do with Snapchat, but come and find me @SuzyPelta and maybe I will figure it out!!
Anyway, I won’t be bored for longĀ because my diary is filling up very nicely!
I’mĀ hosting the Baking Stage at Thame Food Festival, where I will have the pleasure of working with/chatting with/eating the baked goods of Nadiya Hussain, Richard Burr, Benoit Blin, Richard Bertinet, Miranda Gore Browne, Will Torrent & Chetna Makan! It’s going to be so much fun and I would love to see you there!
