Cocktails & Tea!

Hello!
So last weekend began with cocktails with friends
And ended with afternoon tea with friends!
Thank you to my lovely friend Kim for inviting me to her birthday tea, to Tea Time Events for their outstanding catering and to Boxd Gifting for their gorgeous favours!
This week I’ve been busy planning my Marie Curie Blooming Great Tea Party – which is happening on Friday! I’ve been collecting raffle prizes, planning my menu, and organising the shopping stalls. I’ve also been checking that people are actually coming….eeek! I remember last year having panicky dreams that no one would turn up and I must admit those have started again….however I’ve set up an online invite and numbers are looking good, including a wonderful friend of mine who is coming all the way from Nashville, Tennessee!! (Ok so she is over here for a family wedding, but she is attending my tea party as part of her visit!) 🙂

During the week I went into the Infinity Brands offices to discuss Bake With Suzy and we have some really exciting plans for the not so distant future….don’t worry, I’ll keep you updated! 😉 In the meantime, you can buy my Cookie Dough Cupcake Baking Kit here!
I also had a REALLY exciting phone call and I should be able to tell you more about that in about a week or so! I can’t wait!!
I managed to squeeze in a 2 hour (!!) trip to Matalan! I possibly tried on nearly everything in the shop and only ended up buying two bowls! I love them though as they are perfect for my popcorn loving family when we have our family movie nights! Although I’m thinking I’ll keep the big one to myself…. 😉
This weekend is actually pretty chilled out….including family movie night and Father’s Day fun! I can’t tell you what I/the kids have got for Mr P for Father’s Day, because we haven’t given it to him yet, but I can tell you that we got my dad National Trust membership (as he’s already received it) and I’m really excited for him to use it!
