7 Questions Tag – Coast Facts

I’ve been asked by Shiny Shoe Claire over at Everywhere You Look to answer 7 questions about what the coast means to me, and here are my answers:
1) What’s your favourite beach?
My favourite beach is Southend….well I kind of have to say that because my brother in law is from Southend! 🙂
2) Sea or sand?
Definitely the sea! I love dipping my toes in the sea and chasing waves!
3) Tell a memory of being by the sea.
Actually last year we went to Norfolk for a summer family break and it was a really cold day….but in true British style we wrapped up in our winter coats and scarves and made sandcastles on Hunstanton beach whilst our teeth were chattering!
4) What’s your favourite seaside food?
Fish & Chips! The sea air makes it taste even better! (The chips must be dripping with vinegar and the fish must be smothered in tartare sauce!)
5) Favourite ice cream flavour?
Vanilla, with a flake in a cone (of course!)
6) Have you lived by the sea?
No, I’ve always been a city girl, but I dream of one day retiring to a big house on the coast.
7) Favourite place on the coast?
I’m going to say Bournemouth. I have some really fun memories of going there as a teenager – it’s a great holiday destination for families.
